Patent Licensing
Digimarc's intellectual property (IP) portfolio spans the breadth and depth of innovation in digital watermarking, content identification and personal identification systems.
With more than 300 U.S. patents issued and more than 500 pending, Digimarc intellectual property covers applications and techniques for tracking, monitoring, authenticating and managing audio, video, digital image and print content as well as various technologies used to secure identity documents.
Digimarc's Global Licensing team is driving the company's licensing program and is focused on expanding the use of digimarc watermarking across multiple industry segments. The scope of this effort involves Digimarc's entire portfolio of patents.
As the leader in digital watermarking, Digimarc continues to develop IP that fuels our licensing program. We place great value both on protecting our innovations and licensing our IP to third parties as a means to bring the benefits of digital watermarking to more and more users and to enable the adoption of new innovations in the marketplace. Digimarc's licensing program evaluates the licensing of patents to third parties on a case-by-case basis.
