ImageBridge Tracking
Digimarc image tracking technology searches more than 50 million images on the web a month to determine where digitally watermarked images have been posted. As an ImageBridge customer, you have unlimited access to online reports about where your images are found.
How it Works
Digimarc image monitoring uses two complementary approaches to finding your images on the internet. The 'standard' search is focused on sites where images have been found historically, and where content changes frequently. These are popular sites with large numbers of images. The Directed search targets sites that you specify, and goes deeply into those sites each time the spider visits.
How ImageBridge finds new Internet pages
ImageBridge's search tool continually updates its Internet page database by checking frequently visited Internet pages and looking for new links on these pages. There is a strong correlation between how many links are directed to a page, and how prominent that page is. Therefore, the search tool also visits pages with more links associated to it more frequently.
Where ImageBridge searches on the Internet
The search tool looks for Digimarc® ImageBridge digital watermarks throughout the publicly accessible portions of the web. Therefore, it is not able to look behind pages which are guarded with passwords, just as a person would not be allowed to trespass over a private gate.
Add image tracking to your ImageBridge digital watermarking subscription and begin to take advantage of this powerful combination today.
