The 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue uses Digimarc® Discover to bring the models' photos to life with behind-the-scenes video. The imperceptible digital watermarks are embedded directly into the cover and 19 different photos throughout the magazine. Using the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Viewer app — built by Nellymoser, and sponsored by DirecTV — readers of the magazine can simply access the online videos by scanning the model's photo with their iPhone, iPad or Android mobile device.
