The Digimarc Discover app is currently available on the iTunes App Store and Android Market. Once you have downloaded the app onto your smartphone, try it out using our demonstration materials or collateral. In our corporate collateral, we use the Circle D or blue hyperlinked text to denote digitally watermarked content.

Tips for Detecting Watermarks in Images

  1. Launch the app and view the video tutorial showing how it works.
  2. Point the device at the center of the image, not the watermark indicator. The app works best in well-lit areas.
  3. Point your device’s camera at the digitally watermarked content.
  4. Digital watermark detection should be instant and will be indicated with a sound. If you don’t immediately hear the sound, slowly move your phone toward or away from the image.
  5. Experience print come-to-life!

Custom branded mobile applications

Our service provider program includes licensing of software developer kits (SDKs) to create private label applications or adding Digimarc Discover as a key feature in existing mobile apps. Digimarc is a partner-friendly company with opportunities for a range of Value-Added Service Providers to use the Digimarc Discover Platform in complete, full-featured solutions to meet the specific requirements of various market segments.

Digimarc offers two options for mobile app development:

  • Custom branded versions of the Digimarc Discover apps for iPhone and/or Android.
    Digimarc Discover Value-Added Partners can rebrand these mobile apps for your company, or we can provide the mobile apps to your development team for custom branding.
  • Incorporate the Digimarc Discover feature into your existing mobile app.
    If you already have a mobile app, you can easily add this high-value capability using the Digimarc software development kits (SDKs).

A small number of Android devices running a supported OS version are incompatible with the Digimarc Discover app. These devices will not be able to download and install the Digimarc Discover app from the Android Market.
