Compliant and Secure
ExianBase is AAMVA and ISO compliant with a range of linked and layered security features that are ultimately secured with Digimarc® IDMarc™ digital watermarking for trusted cross-jurisdictional authentication. The smart card option provides an additional level of authentication by linking personal data contained in the chip with data found in the digital watermark for fast validation of the identity of the cardholder.
ExianBase has been thoroughly field-tested and has proven to stand up in a wide range of environments, including those with extreme temperatures and humidity. To protect against tampering and wear and tear, the applicant's portrait and personal data are placed on the card core instead of being printed on the card's surface, and then sealed by thick layers of secure laminate. Digimarc ExianBase is produced in one of several highly secure central issuance facilities and is currently used by 20% of the U.S. driver license issuers as well as numerous countries around the globe.
