Digimarc ExianDual TE is a proven, long-life solution for over-the-counter card (OTC) issuers looking for maximum security.
Digimarc ExianDual has a ten-plus year life span — double that of other OTC or instant issue card options — and stands up to extreme flexing, temperature, and humidity. Capable of containing banknote security designs, ExianDual TE supports a range of linked and layered security features to defend against counterfeiting, including unique tamper evident features which destroy the card on counterfeiters' attempts to intrude and alter data. And, as with all Digimarc ID cards, ExianDual TE incorporates Digimarc® IDMarc™ digital watermarking to enable trusted machine authentication.
ExianDual's architecture combines two of the world's most well-known advanced card materials — Teslin™ and polycarbonate (PC) — in one card formulation. Teslin forms the card core and carries preprinted high-end graphics and security features. This provides a much more secure and durable card versus printing on the surface where printing is more subject to alteration and wear and tear. Polycarbonate laminate layers at the top and bottom of the card provide maximum protection for the security features and currency-grade printed graphics on the card core.
Superior Performance and Durability
ExianDual's long-life begins with superior card design and construction — using polycarbonate material which is not prone to stress fracture, nor does it suffer from form stress relief. Form stress relief occurs when a card is forced into an unnatural form or shape for extended periods of time (such as in a wallet) and then is forced to take on a different shape, causing it to crack. ExianDual cards survive intact in normal and even abnormal field use.
