The Quick Start Guide for Creating Digimarc Barcodes for Audio

The Digimarc Barcode Manager is designed to be efficient and easy-to-use — with no special software required.

  1. Get started by clicking the New Digimarc Barcode button while in any project folder and selecting Audio from the list of options.Click the new Digimarc Barcode button and select audio from the list of options.
  2. Select an audio file from your system or drag and drop the file onto the orange icon on the left of the Digimarc Barcode listing. Audio file formats of .wav, .mp3 and .m4a are required, and must be sampled at either 44.1kHz or 48kHz and with 16 or 24 bits per sample.   3. Configure the mobile experience for the user by entering a URL, a headline, plus optional text and image. These will appear in the form of an interactive banner when scanned by a Digimarc Discover-enabled mobile app.

  5. Shortly after uploading your audio file, processing of the audio file should begin. This step takes about the same amount of time as the duration of the audio clip.
