Beaverton, OR — March 19, 2010 — IEEE Spectrum's Patent Power 2010 Scorecard, another independent evaluator of patents, has ranked Digimarc Corporation's (NASDAQ: DMRC) portfolio ninth among industry heavyweights in Computer Software in "Pipeline Power," and #1 in "Pipeline Impact."
Three independent patent evaluators have ranked Digimarc among global technology leaders such as Microsoft, Verizon, Oracle, Apple, and Time Warner — in just the past month alone. The three independent evaluators — the Wall Street Journal, IEEE Spectrum, and MDB Capital Group — all used different proprietary analytical methods to assess companies' patent strength, quality, and industry impact scores for their ranking lists.
