Digimarc Listed 20th on The Patent Board's Information Technology Patent Scorecard™ of the Top 50 most innovative technology companies

Beaverton, Ore. — March 17, 2010 — Digimarc Corporation (NASDAQ: DMRC) today announced that The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has ranked the Company as 20th in its Top 50 Innovative Companies in Information Technology, as published by The Patent Board's Patent Scorecard. The Patent Board has developed more than 50 indicators that track global patent activity relating to companies' innovation, technology and science strengths and provides analysis for the WSJ. Digimarc is listed among technology heavyweights such as Microsoft, Apple, and Oracle Corp. The Company ranked fourth in stock market performance for the preceding twelve months.
