Whether you call it soccer or football, there is nothing like an afternoon on the pitch, and in Northwest Arkansas, youth soccer players will soon be striking and defending with Digimarc logos on their jerseys.
Digimarc is now the premier jersey sponsor for Sporting Arkansas, a nonprofit soccer league with 400 youth players. Digimarc will be a sponsor for the next four seasons.
In time, patches on the jerseys will incorporate Digimarc technology, so they can be scanned with smart phones and provide information, such as player statistics.
